Flat-screen TVs
Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.
Tube TVs
An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.
TV stands and other electronics
The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

Bulk removal is part of the franchise service and runs by appointment. A resident calls GFL Environmental to be added to the bulk schedule at least 24 hours before the service day, and up to three items are removed during each weekly service at no additional charge. The city defines a bulk item as anything too large to fit in the 95-gallon cart and names furniture, mattresses and appliances as examples.

Get it ready
Have the freon removed from an appliance and tag the unit with certification that it is empty before it goes to the curb, keep construction material out of the load completely, and keep yard waste in its own pile or its own bags rather than in the bulk load. Describe the load accurately when the appointment is made so the right truck is sent.
No city or county route for televisions, computers or other electronics is published. The city's recycling list covers household containers only and states that items of recyclable material that are not household type containers are not acceptable, and the county recycle center's accepted list does not include electronics, so a screen is a confirmation with the hauler.

The facility is strictly a drop-off site with no pickups, it does not reimburse or pay for recyclables, and yard debris is refused from commercial landscapers and contractors.
Arrange it
Drive the separated load to the center on a Tuesday through Saturday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., and take cardboard and paperboard to the baler under the green shelter up the hill, flattened and free of bags, wrap and packaging.
