Will the city
take it?

Cedar Falls runs a scheduled large item pickup for residents with an active refuse account, charged per stop and added to the CFU bill, with appliances, computers and televisions carrying their own charges on top. Yard waste has two routes: a free seasonal compost facility on North Main Street that is open to Cedar Falls residents only, and the Transfer Station on State Street, which charges by the bag or by weight. The Transfer Station also handles demolition material, scrap metal and recycling of appliances, tires, computers and televisions.
