Rims may stay on the tire, but keep whole tires out of the trash because Massachusetts bans whole tires from landfills. Tag each tire the same way as other bulky items.
Framingham collects bulky items only by appointment and only after payment. Schedule through the city permitting portal or at the Operations Center or drop-off center, pay by cash, check or online, and put the tagged item at the curb by 7 a.m. on the assigned day because staff cannot enter private property.
Soft goods such as couches go out on Tuesday, and metal items, mattresses, televisions, Freon appliances, carpets and tires go out on Wednesday. Setting a category out on the wrong day means the crew will not take it.
