Furniture, mattresses and carpet under eight feet, demolition material from Midland residences, scrap metal, up to three televisions and up to four tires a year all ride that collection, while dishwashers, freezers, refrigerators, hot water tanks, stoves, washers and dryers need a scheduled call to the department.
