The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.
Flat-screen TVs
Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.
Tube TVs
An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.
TV stands and other electronics
The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

A pickup day is not an exact arrival appointment. If your building allows only a short loading window, contact us before booking to confirm a workable plan.

How much does TV removal cost in Queens?+
A flat-screen TV under 42 inches is $79 as the first item and $19 as an additional item. Larger flat screens and tube TVs have their own prices. Loading, transportation and disposal are included. Choose the type that matches your TV and review your total, including any applicable tax, before payment.
Can I get same-day TV pickup in Queens?+
Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup. Choose from the dates offered at checkout and have the TV outside according to your confirmation. We text you when your hauler is on the way and provide photos when the pickup is done.
Will Dropcurb remove my TV from the wall or carry it downstairs?+
You arrange unmounting, disconnection and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb starts at an accessible outdoor location, where we load your TV and take it away. If you need help removing a mounted TV or moving a heavy tube TV outside, arrange that separately before your pickup day.
Do you pick up old tube or CRT televisions?+
Yes. Choose Tube TV for an older television with curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Its price is $249 as the first item and $249 as an additional item. A rear-projection television is a different item; send a photo before booking rather than choosing the tube-TV option.
Does my old TV have to work?+
Your TV does not need to turn on for removal. Choose its type and size and arrange to have it outside before pickup. A non-working TV and a TV with exposed broken glass are different situations; send a photo of unusual damage so we can confirm the plan before you book.
Where can NYC residents take an old TV?+
DSNY special-waste sites in all five boroughs accept covered household electronics from NYC residents. Bring proof of residency and check hours before travel. Buildings with at least 10 units can also enroll in ecycleNYC; regular curbside trash is not a TV disposal route.Official guidance
