The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.
Flat-screen TVs
Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.
Tube TVs
An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.
TV stands and other electronics
The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

Take the set to the Fort Bend County Recycling Center at 1200 Blume Road, Rosenberg, TX 77471, once the fee and hours are confirmed, or watch for the Missouri City Green electronics event, which is usually hosted twice a year.
Get it ready
Keep the screen whole and dry, wipe anything that stores data, keep the remote and cords with the set, and do not put it in the recycling bin because the commingled programme takes paper, cardboard, plastics, glass and metal cans only.
Two route patterns, one recycling day for the big items
Missouri City publishes two service patterns. Households with trash on Mondays and Thursdays have recycling, bulk and yard waste collected on Thursdays, and households with trash on Tuesdays and Fridays have them collected on Tuesdays, with everything at the curb by 7:00 a.m. Garbage itself runs twice a week, and the city's ordinance sets the service window between 7 am and 7 pm. The automatic front-loading trucks need the garbage and recycling bins at least 5 feet apart with the handles facing the house, and the monthly base rate that took effect on January 1, 2026 covers the whole package, including holiday tree pickup in January.
