A household with furniture, a bed, a couch, a chair, a lawnmower, wood, an appliance or an electronic item that will not fit in a cart.

The City states that single family residents get four free curbside bulk collections a year of up to eight items each, while the FY 2026-27 rate schedule prices additional pickups beyond three a year and each item beyond ten. Confirm the free count, the item allowance and any charge with Republic Services at (714) 238-3300 when the pickup is booked.

The accepted list is washers, dryers, stoves, BBQ grills, lawnmowers, furniture, beds, sofas, chairs, wood, fish tanks and taped mirrors or glass. Paint, tires, construction and demolition debris, dirt and rock, roofing material, medical sharps, a mattress with bed bugs, a piano, a spa, a camper shell, fencing, sheds and gazebos and propane tanks are refused.
Bulky pickup on a multi-family or commercial account
A resident of a multi-family property with bin service, or a commercial account, that needs a large item removed.
Cost & conditions
$67.13 for the fee the City publishes for a multi-family or commercial bulky item pickup of two items, with additional items costing more. Multi-family residents with bin service and commercial customers. This is a different published arrangement from the single family allowance, and additional items carry an extra cost.

Yes. Add one Washing machine and one Dryer so both units are included in the price. They are separate items, even when you bought them as a set. If yours is a single combined unit or the machines still need to be unstacked, contact us before booking to confirm the scope.
Will you disconnect my appliance or carry it out?+

Can I book if the delivery company did not take my old appliance?+
Yes. Dropcurb pickup is separate from buying or installing a replacement, so you can book removal on its own. If your new delivery is still ahead, confirm the retailer’s haul-away arrangements before booking a separate pickup.

What does weekly collection cost a household?+
The FY 2026-27 rate for standard single family three cart service is billed as an annual assessment on the property tax roll. Yes. The City lists three yard to thirty yard rental containers for residential cleanups and removal of construction debris, ordered through Republic Services.
