A bulk pickup accepts a small number of loose passenger tires, and larger tire loads have to be arranged separately with Public Works.
City cost & eligibility
The City accepts no more than two passenger tires without rims inside a scheduled bulk pickup and publishes no separate tire rate. Confirm with Public Works how a larger or mounted tire load should be handled.
When & how
Put loose passenger tires with the metal and non-burnable pile on the bulk appointment, or call Public Works about a larger load.
Get it ready
Remove rims so the tires stay within the accepted limit, and keep them out of the burnable pile.
Metal and non-burnable items go in one pile and burnable material in another, neatly separated at the curb, because the City disposes of them separately.
Bulk items cannot be placed at the curb more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup, and the City assesses fines for material put out sooner. Items are out by 6 a.m. on the appointment day.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.
Households with furniture, a mattress, appliances, metal items or a small tire load that fits the five cubic yard limit.

No charge. Bristol residential properties qualified for city curbside collection. The first pickup each calendar year is free, later collections in the same year carry a published fee, and the City notes that property owners receive the 2026 pickup without payment. Only the property owner, landlord or property manager can request the free collection, and a tenant who schedules without going through the owner pays the published fee instead.
Arrange it
Schedule the appointment before setting anything out, then separate metal from burnable material and place both piles at the curb within 24 hours of the appointment.
Hazardous chemical waste, automobile parts, sheetrock, shingles, ceramic tiles, porcelain fixtures, yard debris, cardboard boxes and plastic bagged material are not accepted, and a missed appointment costs a published fee to reschedule.
Bristol separates bulk pickup into two piles, metal and non-burnable on one side and burnable furniture and mattresses on the other, and the first pickup each calendar year is free for a qualified residential property. Yard debris is not part of bulk: residents either subscribe to the weekly yard waste barrel for a seasonal fee or bring brush and yard waste to the transfer station with a residential permit and a funded account. How much does tire disposal cost?+
A non-commercial car or pickup-truck tire is $99 first and $20 additional. A commercial automotive tire up to 120 lb is $125 first and $55 additional. Count each tire separately.
How do I book a set of four tires?+
Choose the matching tire type and set the quantity to four. The first tire uses the first-item price and the remaining three use the additional-item price. Review your total before payment.
Do you take tires still mounted on rims?+

Can my tire shop take the old tires?+
Ask the tire retailer or your local waste authority about their collection options and requirements. If the tires are already at home, Dropcurb offers a separately booked outdoor pickup for the listed tire types.
Can I arrange same-day pickup?+
Book by 2pm in the pickup address’s local time for same-day pickup. Checkout shows the available dates for your address. Your booking is for a pickup day, rather than an exact arrival window. We send updates and photos after collection.
Where should I put my items?+
Use an accessible outdoor spot you are allowed to use, and follow the instructions in your confirmation. Keep sidewalks, entrances and vehicle access clear. You arrange any indoor carrying. For a loading dock or a short building access window, confirm the setup with our team before booking.
