Space barrels at least five feet apart. Branches must be under six inches in diameter and cut to four feet or less, tied into secure bundles one person can lift, with the whole pile no larger than four by four by four feet. Loose piles are not collected, and pickups pause in winter.
A bulk pickup accepts a small number of loose passenger tires, and larger tire loads have to be arranged separately with Public Works.

A valid Transfer Station permit and funds on the account are required for entry, and residential permit holders must bring the permit and a Bristol license or identification. Residents who dispose of more than 2.5 tons in a year are reclassified after the annual audit, and the Department also reviews two years of usage.
