Will the city take it?
Enfield separates bulky appointments, Transfer Station drop-off and Friday yard-waste collection. Construction debris, electronics and tires do not belong in ordinary weekly trash, and each follows a different acceptance route.
Construction and home-improvement demolition material is excluded from Enfield curbside collection.
City cost & eligibility
The Town does not offer curbside collection for construction material; a confirmed Transfer Station or private route has separate charges.
When & how
Confirm the exact material and destination before loading it. Contractors arranging Town disposal must follow the building-permit requirement.
Get it ready
Describe every material, load size and vehicle. Keep hazardous waste, asbestos, shingles, sheetrock, concrete and glass out unless the destination expressly confirms acceptance.

Separate wood, furniture, metal and appliances into piles. Tie scrap wood or lumber in bundles no longer than 6 feet. Keep items away from house wires; do not include bags, boxes, electronics, construction material or yard waste.
Eligible residents receive Friday seasonal collection for prepared vegetative debris in brown yard-waste tippers.

No charge. Up to two brown yard-waste tippers per week for eligible Enfield residents during the seasonal route.

Friday pickup runs from April until the beginning of December, except holiday weeks and weather delays. Place tippers curbside by 6am.

Use brown tippers for grass, twigs, leaves and limbs up to 2 inches in diameter. Do not add dirt, rocks, mulch, household trash, plastic, demolition lumber or larger limbs.

An eligible resident needs a third or fourth brown yard-waste tipper on the weekly route during the current tag year.

This is an annual tag for an additional brown tipper, not the price of a new barrel. Seasonal periods may allow extra untagged barrels under the Town's current notice.
The Enfield Transfer Station is the documented resident route for accepted electronics, yard waste and qualifying permitted bulky or construction material. It does not accept tires. Accepted bulky non-yard material for permitted residents, plus electronics without a permit.
An annual residential permit requires vehicle registration showing Enfield residency. A one-day residential permit can use an Enfield license or official mail. Electronics need proof of residency but no permit. Tires, household trash, hazardous waste, rocks, concrete, asphalt, logs over 12 inches in diameter and stumps are prohibited. Confirm construction material before loading.
Tuesday-Friday, 8am-2:30pm; Saturday, 8am-3:30pm. Closed holidays and the Tuesday after a Monday holiday.
From $10 for qualifying bulky non-yard load up to 260 pounds. User already holds the required current residential permit; heavier loads use the posted weight rate.

Can I book a pickup for today?+
Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Choose from the dates shown at checkout. Your booking is for a pickup day, and we text you when your hauler is on the way.
Do my items need to be outside when I book?+
You can book while your items are still inside. Arrange any indoor carrying and have everything outside and accessible according to your confirmation. We load and haul it away from there. Contact us before booking if your property has restricted access.
Where do Enfield residents take old electronics?+
Bring accepted televisions, computers, monitors, printers, microwaves and electronics to the Transfer Station during current hours. The resident route has no permit or disposal charge, but proof of Enfield residency is required.Official guidance
