No charge. Up to two brown yard-waste tippers per week for eligible Enfield residents during the seasonal route.
When & how
Friday pickup runs from April until the beginning of December, except holiday weeks and weather delays. Place tippers curbside by 6am.
Get it ready
Use brown tippers for grass, twigs, leaves and limbs up to 2 inches in diameter. Do not add dirt, rocks, mulch, household trash, plastic, demolition lumber or larger limbs.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.
An eligible resident needs a third or fourth brown yard-waste tipper on the weekly route during the current tag year.

$45 each annual additional-tipper tag. Up to two additional brown-tipper tags for the March 2026 through February 2027 tag year.

This is an annual tag for an additional brown tipper, not the price of a new barrel. Seasonal periods may allow extra untagged barrels under the Town's current notice.
The Enfield Transfer Station is the documented resident route for accepted electronics, yard waste and qualifying permitted bulky or construction material. It does not accept tires. Leaves and grass in loose form or brown kraft bags, plus qualifying brush and tree debris.
A valid residential permit is required. An annual permit requires vehicle registration showing Enfield residency; a one-day residential permit can use an Enfield license or official mail. No plastic bags, stumps, brush over 6 feet long or tree debris over 12 inches in diameter. Brush charges apply after the fifth visit; check the current schedule.
Tuesday-Friday, 8am-2:30pm; Saturday, 8am-3:30pm. Closed holidays and the Tuesday after a Monday holiday.
Leaves and grass have no additional weight charge with a valid permit; brush can incur a visit-based weight charge.

Book by 2pm in the pickup address’s local time for same-day pickup. Checkout shows the available dates for your address. Your booking is for a pickup day, rather than an exact arrival window. We send updates and photos after collection.
Where should I put my items?+
Use an accessible outdoor spot you are allowed to use, and follow the instructions in your confirmation. Keep sidewalks, entrances and vehicle access clear. You arrange any indoor carrying. For a loading dock or a short building access window, confirm the setup with our team before booking.
