Sort the item before you go
Use this rule of thumb:
- 1.Laptops, computers, cables and other listed small electronics can fit Staples’ recycling program.
- 2.Printers and eligible monitors may be accepted, but do not assume they are free; the current service list controls fees and local exceptions.
- 3.Televisions, microwaves and other kitchen electronics except qualifying coffee brewers are excluded. Floor-standing copiers are also excluded.
A store can refuse equipment that is unsafe or unsuitable. Check the current list for the exact item, size and location before transporting it.

A pickup option for accepted electronics
If you have an accepted laptop or box of small electronics and want transport convenience, Dropcurb handles loading, transportation and disposal.
