Book the unwanted bags and boxes left after packing. Choose an available pickup day before you hand back the keys, and arrange to have them outside.
You do not need a whole house of junk. Select the bags, boxes and larger items you actually have. Your combined price is shown online.
When the next collection does not fit your plans, choose a Dropcurb pickup day. Updates keep you informed, and completion photos show when the booked items are gone.

A few simple choices turn a mixed pile into a clear booking. No need to estimate how much of a truck it might fill.
Count each trash bag or filled household box. Books and media go by the box. Clothes, bedding and shoes go by the filled bag. Toys packed together have a Box of toys choice. Ask us about unusually heavy or oversized bags and boxes first.
Empty cardboard is a different choice: choose single empty boxes or tied bundles of 10 flattened boxes. Compacted bales have their own weight-based choices and require loading-dock access. A Storage bin choice covers the empty bin itself; ask us to confirm the contents if they are going too.
Add the actual larger item alongside your bags and boxes, such as a sofa, chair or mattress. It has its own price and preparation. Keep construction materials and items needing special handling out of ordinary household bags.

Bulky waste is any large item that will not fit in the garbage cart, and the town collects it every week on the regular garbage day. It travels as one organized pile at the curb, stays under 500 pounds, and is covered by the monthly garbage charge.
Furniture is on the list of items the town states it will collect curbside as bulky waste, so a couch, chair, table or similar piece goes out with the weekly bulky pile. Carpet and carpet pads are on the same list and should be laid parallel to the curb.
Mattresses are named on the town's list of items that will be collected curbside as bulky waste, so a mattress goes out with the weekly pile rather than in the garbage cart. There is no published per-piece charge because it is covered by the monthly garbage charge.
The town lists refrigerators, freezers, ovens, washing machines, dehumidifiers and microwaves among the items it will collect curbside as bulky waste, with refrigerator and freezer doors removed first. Electronics recycling does not take appliances, so the curbside bulky route is the town option for them.
Exercise equipment is not named on the bulky waste list the town publishes, so the route depends on whether the machine counts as a large item that will not fit in the garbage cart. Confirm the machine with Public Works before it goes out.
