Municipal solid waste, separated construction and demolition material such as shingles, clean wood, concrete, asphalt and brick, mixed construction debris, land clearing debris, yard waste, wood pallets, tires and household hazardous waste at the separate facility on the same property.
Loads are weighed and separated material is charged less than mixed loads, with a contamination load fee when loads are not sorted. Tires are charged by weight, and off-road tires cost more. The household hazardous waste facility takes residential material only, no contractors or contractor vehicles, and limits paint to 20 gallons, so call 843-347-1651 to confirm the allowance before bringing a large paint load.
Landfill Monday through Friday 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday 6 a.m. to noon. The compost and mulch sales point at the same address opens Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
From $15 per ton for separated concrete, brick and asphalt at the county landfill. Loads are weighed at the scale. Mixed construction, shingles, clean wood, yard waste, solid waste and tires carry separate published per-ton rates, and unsorted loads can add a contamination fee.
Household recyclables, bulk waste containers, scrap metal containers, batteries and, for unincorporated residents, mattresses and electronic waste such as televisions, monitors and printers.
County ordinance 50-01 limits the 25 convenience centers to residents of unincorporated Horry County, with a four cubic yard daily limit, so a Conway city address is generally directed back to the city. Recyclables carry no facility charge.
