Cut limbs and branches to less than five feet and under six inches in diameter. Horry County bans yard waste in plastic bags, so use a loose pile. Material produced by a landscape contractor or tree service is not collected and stays with the contractor.
Scrap metal is not listed as a curbside item. Appliances go through the City special collection, while loose metal has to be routed through the county authority or a private hauler.
