The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.
Flat-screen TVs
Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.
Tube TVs
An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.

The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

$10 for the district electronics charge of $10.00 per household item for additional units, with one typical household electronic item per load accepted with the minimum fee, plus a $5.00 weigh fee. Households hauling electronics to the North Pointe transfer station in Lindon. Commercial sized electronics such as copy machines are not treated as household electronics.

Get it ready
Remove personal data before the device leaves the house, keep electronics out of the City rental dumpster because that program refuses them, and tell the attendant about any battery powered device so the material is handled carefully.
Lehi publishes no curbside bulky item service, so furniture, mattresses and appliances do not go at the curb. They travel in a household load to the North Pointe transfer station in Lindon, through the annual dump pass, or in the City's rental dumpster.
The district charges double for a non-covered or unsecured load under state law, with a published minimum and maximum, so every load going to the transfer station should be covered and tied down. Identification is required to enter the facility.
Gas tanks, tires, batteries, motor oils, paint, solvents, refrigerators, rocks, dirt, concrete, liquids, air conditioners, fluorescent lights and electronics are not allowed in the City rental dumpster, and the dumpster has to sit on the applicant's property rather than in the street.

Lehi sends household loads to the North Pointe Solid Waste transfer station at 2000 W 200 S in Lindon, open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Lehi is a participating city, so mixed waste runs on the lower rate band, and identification is required at the gate. Every load is weighed, so covering it matters because the district charges double under state law for a non-covered or unsecured load. Alongside mixed waste the station takes mattresses, appliances with a refrigerant extraction fee, electronics, plant material, clean concrete, construction debris and tires at their own rates, and it accepts limited household hazardous waste such as paint up to 10 gallons, household chemicals up to 3 gallons and batteries at no charge. Lehi households that pay the City garbage fee also get one annual dump pass with three punches of up to 499 pounds each and can rent the City's oversize dumpster for five days.
