Manchester sells punch cards at the Sanitation Office window, in a small card and a larger card, and the town lists punch card items rather than a per-item price. Confirm how many punches your load uses before you drive over.
Arrange it
Buy a punch card at the Sanitation Office window at 311 Olcott Street, bring it with an active Recycling Permit Card, and use it for the chargeable items at the Transfer Station.
Punch cards never expire but are only valid alongside an active Recycling Permit Card, and they cannot be shared or used by anyone other than the permittee.
Manchester gives residents a real drop-off route instead of a contractor phone call. The Sanitation Transfer Station on Olcott Street takes mattresses, appliances, electronics, textiles, scrap metal and yard waste free with a current Recycling Permit Card, and charges a punch card only for bagged trash, bulky household trash, furniture, construction and demolition material, brush and stumps. The permit itself is free but has to be collected in person, and the site turns away commercial vehicles and multi axle trailers.
