The vegetation area needs a permit and clean loads
The Vegetation Disposal Area at 2045 Main Street, south of Churchill Park, is for Newington residents other than apartment and condominium complexes and requires a free permit from the Highway Department or the Town Clerk's office, issued after showing a licence and the registration of a town registered vehicle. Only vegetation from the resident's own property is allowed, and household trash, glass, plastic, rubber, metal, construction wood, cement, asphalt, concrete, stone, masonry rubble and soil are prohibited.
