Match the screen

Flat screen or tube? Start with the shape.

The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.

Flat-screen TVs

Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.

Tube TVs

An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.

TV stands and other electronics

The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Sammamish residents who haul their own material use a King County transfer station, and the Factoria station at 13800 SE 32nd Street in Bellevue is the one that primarily serves the area. Loads are weighed from a published minimum, mattresses and refrigerant appliances are recycled for a price for each item, and cardboard, clean wood, scrap metal and yard waste have to be sorted out for recycling. Household hazardous products go to the station's separate hazardous waste building, and construction loads inside a mechanized dump bed have to go to a designated construction and demolition facility instead. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

TV removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Sammamish.

How much does TV removal cost in Sammamish?

A flat-screen TV under 42 inches is $79 as the first item and $19 as an additional item. Larger flat screens and tube TVs have their own prices. Loading, transportation and disposal are included. Choose the type that matches your TV and review your total, including any applicable tax, before payment.

Can I get same-day TV pickup in Sammamish?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup. Choose from the dates offered at checkout and have the TV outside according to your confirmation. We text you when your hauler is on the way and provide photos when the pickup is done.

Will Dropcurb remove my TV from the wall or carry it downstairs?

You arrange unmounting, disconnection and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb starts at an accessible outdoor location, where we load your TV and take it away. If you need help removing a mounted TV or moving a heavy tube TV outside, arrange that separately before your pickup day.

Do you pick up old tube or CRT televisions?

Yes. Choose Tube TV for an older television with curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Its price is $249 as the first item and $249 as an additional item. A rear-projection television is a different item; send a photo before booking rather than choosing the tube-TV option.

Does my old TV have to work?

Your TV does not need to turn on for removal. Choose its type and size and arrange to have it outside before pickup. A non-working TV and a TV with exposed broken glass are different situations; send a photo of unusual damage so we can confirm the plan before you book.

Can I recycle a TV in Sammamish?

Yes, free. E-Cycle Washington collects televisions, computers and monitors at no charge at registered collection sites around the state, and the city's recycling events also accept television sets in plastic, wood console, wood and big screen sizes. A television does not belong in the garbage cart or the recycling cart, and King County transfer stations do not list electronics among their accepted materials.Official guidance

Who handles Sammamish collection and disposal?

The City of Sammamish contracts curbside garbage, recycling and compost collection to Republic Services, reached at 206-777-6441 for service, billing and the large appliance appointment. Disposal is county work, so a self-hauled load goes to a King County transfer station such as Factoria in Bellevue, and the station only serves customers who live or do business inside King County's service area.Official guidance

Where can I take something the cart will not collect?

Furniture, mattresses, appliances and construction material go to a King County transfer station, where the load is weighed and mattresses and refrigerant appliances are recycled for a price for each item. Televisions, computers and monitors go to an E-Cycle Washington collection site for free, and the city's recycling events on published dates add mattresses, appliances and a wider range of electronics. Household hazardous products such as paints, solvents and batteries go to the hazardous waste building at the Factoria station.Official guidance
